I could say something like “when I started, I never thought I would make it this far”. But honestly, I had enough ideas and drive at this time one year ago, that I was pretty sure I would be around in a year.
Not everything went exactly according to plan, though. I am still trying to figure out what my next design step is now that my original theme broke. And I have a TON of blog post drafts that I never got around to building out. Even though I had a lot of topics in mind, the types of posts I wanted to write has evolved over the past year. I had no idea that I would be writing about real estate investing, for example.
The main point of this happy birthday post, though, is to thank all of you out there READING the blog. If a blog post is written in the woods, and nobody reads it, was it ever written? These posts have meaning to me and chronicle my thoughts on money, but they are a MILLION times more valuable when you and other readers engage with them, interact with them, and leave comments.
My hope with this blog for the next year is to continue to engage and to help the readers out in any way that I can. So feel free to contact me with questions or thoughts. I love to hear about:
- Cheap Eats that you love
- Real Estate questions/thoughts
- Money saving ideas
- Your favorite recipe
- Your favorite band/music
- Cheap date ideas
- Questions about life in NYC
- Questions about finding your priorities
- Pretty much any other questions, ideas, and comments you can think of!
So thank you again for reading The New York Budget and I look forward to another great year!
P.S. Another milestone is coming up. This is my 94th post. I am not planning a post about the 100th post, so I figured I would sprinkle that thought in here!
